Sat - March 19...1st Annual Southern Nash Invitational Relays (Southern
Nash High School)
The meet will include the dedication of our new rubberized facility. We are
looking for a diverse group of schools to participate representing all four
classifications and all regions of the state. The goal is to make this the
top early season meet in the state. The format will be field events, 100/110m
High Hurdles, 100m Dash, and 1600m Run Premier Races, and all
relays, plus the Distance and Sprint Medley Relays and the 4 x 1600m
Relays. Entry Fee is $60.00 for boys and girls teams and $40.00 for one
team. There is a 20 team limit, although we might go as high as 25. The plan
is to have roughly half of the schools from Eastern North Carolina and the
remainder of the field from southeastern NC, the Fayetteville/Sandhills
area, Triangle and Piedmont Triad area, and possibly the Charlotte area and

Sat - March 26...The 13th Annual Lee Calhoun High School Invitational Relays
(NC Central University, Durham)
Field events 9:00 am. Running
events 11:00 am. Admission is free. The meet pays tribute to NCCU's
two-time Olympic champion in the high hurdles.
The 2004 meet featured more than 500 student-athletes from 31 high schools
from NC, Maryland, D.C. and New Jersey.
Surface Type: Eight-lane polyurethane synthetic martin surface.
Awards: Top three places to each individual male and female, and top three

Sat - April 2...Jacksonville Cardinals 3rd Annual Track & Field
Invitational (Jacksonville HS, Jacksonville, NC)
Location: 1021 Henderson Dr. Scratch meet 9:00 AM-9:30 AM Running
of the 3200 Meter relay and the field events will start
at 10:00 AM. Field event instruments will be weighed in, starting
at 9:00 AM and concluding at 9:45 AM. Instruments not
weighed will no be allowed in the meet. Facility features newly
resurfaced six-lane asphalt track with two jump pits.
Trophies will be awarded the top three men and women teams. Medals
will be awarded to the top three men and women finisher
in each event. Places 4-6 will receive ribbons. A plaque will be
awarded to the outstanding performer in the field and on

10:00 am. West Mecklenburg is blessed to have a new rubberized track with 8
lanes and two long/triple jump pits. Each single team will be charged
$50.00 or both boys/girls teams will be charged $90.00 per school.
We ask that you choose the top 3 athletes for each event; we want to
ensure that every team has a chance to enter competitors. Preliminaries
in the 100, 200, 400, 100H, and 300IM will be conducted in the morning.
